we introduced the 1970's retro trend, with classics such as crêpes suzette, banana flambé and steak diane as well as beef stroganoff and scampi mornay. the dishes are made by a dedicated chef at your table so sit back and enjoy this unmissable piece of culinary theatre. you can also choose to pair your meal with a selection of specially concocted flaming cocktails (we like to call them kitchen cocktails!) or selected wines to match the dishes.

here are some of the excellent things our friends have been saying.
"With my latent pyromaniac tendencies, flambé is a welcome return to a tradition I was too young to experience the first time round...it was an enjoyable evening and provided a welcome sense of spectacle in these increasingly dreary times." Foodepedia
"Sauces were effortlessly prepared and everything was cooked with great ease in the dancing flames. Inspiring for a foodie and entertaining for non-foodies." The Food I Eat
"At £45.95 for a three-course flambé meal with flambélicious cocktails and attentive flamboyant service, I'd say The Drift is one definitely worth checking out." Blue Tomato
"Our favourite is the flambé menu, where a chef comes to your table to cook classic Seventies dishes like steak diane and crêpe suzette. Of course, we’re too young to remember them from the first time round." Emerald Street
"Since the release of The Iron Lady, bars have gone all retro, harking back to the days of big hair and shoulder pads. Stepping back in a blaze of glory, the drift has launched a sizzling menu of flambé favourites…That's one way to brighten up the dreary January nights." Urban Junkies
"The drift is looking to set the London restaurant scene alight by bringing back this quirky trend with the introduction of a flambé menu." Love Food Love Drink
